Goþdeg, Yrsaland. Our top story: An elderly man on the 4:57 train to Yngriþe was the only victim of an attempted terrorist attack today by an organisation known as the Black Dragons, led by infamous criminal Petr Chenowicz, who was tried for sedition and attempted terrorism two years ago, but escaped from a solitary confinement prison about 3 weeks ago. The incident occurred when a 30 year old man of Eastern appearance raised his hand, which was coated in black ink - apparently a signature feature of the Black Dragons - and threw an improvised explosive device into the crowds of people on the train.
Thankfully, the device failed to detonate fully, but some shrapnel deflected into the arm of 67-year-old Jorgen Jarnesmedten, who is currently recovering in hospital. The man, identified as Lokarataj Sengurwong, a known supporter of Chenowicz and the author of 'Capitalism: The Sins of Man', a radical book preaching on the supposed benefits of a communist global state, was executed after interrogation by the Yrsk military. He was neutralised shortly after the incident occurred by four Kamperur.
This attack will surely raise public sentiment toward Yrsaland's leading party, the YVP (Yrsk Volkes Partei), who have recently been considering revoking their recent relaxation on immigration laws. This attack has definitively proved that outsiders cannot be trusted, which is an unfortunate reality.
These attacks are the most recent of many against the Yrsk state, and one that occurred in the Yrskhomeland is even more concerning for the government, who certainly have a lot to consider. Martial law is being considered, as well as a vigorous stop-and-search prodecure, and possible repatriation of non-Yrsk. The government will have to decide on that last one, though, as many people in the extremely dominant YVP oppose it, but a majority of Yrsaland's second largest party, the NSAP (National Sosjalist Arviþeres Partei) strongly support this move.
In other news, His Grace Koneg Erik VI has been taken to hospital after collapsing. Our 51-year-old king just marked the one year anniversary of his remission from pancreatic cancer after suffering a horrendous 2 year ordeal. Sources close to the Koneg say that he may be suffering from a severe relapse. Our thoughts are with our Koneg at this time - he has served our country well, and we wish him all the best.
